"Ta danse parle bien de qui tu deviens…"

Ces quelques mots de Bernard Glandier écrits sur une carte lors d’une soirée de première ont été,
pour le jeune interprète que j’étais à l’époque, d’une grande importance.
Ils condensaient toute la générosité de sa transmission et ses valeurs à partager.

Comme une évidence, la programmation de ce festival croise ces chemins de partage, de filiation,
d’accompagnement, de relai… de continuité.

De la force vitale et militante des anciens aux hommages fidèles des plus jeunes,
Du répertoire à la création, de la fin des années 1990 à aujourd’hui,
De l’apprentissage à la transformation, à la construction,
De l’interprète au chorégraphe,
Du paysage vaste et inconnu, à la connaissance profonde d’un petit jardin intime qui ne demande
qu’à être partagé,
D’une transmission privée à une transmission publique, 

C’est un véritable parcours que Tours d’Horizons vous invite à traverser, des décennies de partage
et de filiations artistiques, empruntant les chemins croisés de plusieurs générations de chorégraphes
et d’interprètes. 

Nous sommes impatients de partager cela avec vous !

"Your dance really speaks of who you are becoming..."

These few words - written on a card by Bernard Glandier on an evening when we were
giving a show for the first time - were very important to the young dancer I was then.
In them are condensed the generosity of what he was passing on and the many values
he had to share. 

It seems obvious that the programme of this festival should criss-cross those pathways
of sharing, parenthood, accompanying, passing-on... and continuity. 

From the vital, fighting force of the elder to the faithful homages pf the younger;
From repertory to new works and from the close of the nineties to today;
From learning to transformation and to construction;
From the dancer to the choregrapher; From vast, unexplored landscapes to intimate
knowledge of a little garden, crying out to be shared;
From passing on knowledge in private to passing it along in public;

Tours d'Horizons invites you to embark on a complete discovery trail, made up of
decades of sharing and artistic filiation and takind the crisscrossed pathways of several
generations of choregraphers and dancers. We're so eager to share all of that with you!
